Job DetailsJob Location: Burlington, WI 53105Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Skilled Labor - TradesAmerican Bin and Conveyor is looking for an Industrial Blaster at our Burlington, Wisconsin manufacturing facility.  Industrial Blasters are responsible for operating the blast equipment/spray gun to propel steel grit onto metal surfaces to prepare it for painting.  RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors blasting equipment for jams, malfunctions, breakdowns, or stoppages. Regulate controls on equipment for manual or automatic operations of cycle length, sequence, and timing of various operations. Operate lifting and moving devises to move materials and equipment to access areas to be painted. Rack work pieces on skids, inspect, mark, and transfer finished products to staging / shipping areas. Maintain records of inventory of supplies on hand. Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas, including cleanliness of blast building, equipment, and replacement of screens and filters. Complies with all company safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits. Other duties as assigned by management. QualificationsREQUIREMENTS Previous experience operating blasting equipment preferred. Previous experience operating material handling equipment. Acute attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines; work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events. Ability to work in a team environment with multiple departments and diverse personalities. High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others. Agree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
