Job Description
Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVI), a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is continuing to grow and is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Central Florida.
This role offers a strong mix of inpatient and hospital-based cardiology responsibilities with exposure to a wide variety of cardiovascular conditions and patient populations. APPs work closely with experienced Cardiologists in a supportive environment that values mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on clinical training.
Whether you are an experienced provider or a motivated new graduate interested in transitioning into cardiology, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term foundation within cardiovascular medicine.
Full-time Advanced Practice Provider position
Monday through Friday schedule with rotating call responsibilities
Primarily hospital-based cardiology role
Strong mix of inpatient cardiology responsibilities and acute patient management
Evaluate and manage cardiovascular patients across affiliated hospital settings
Participate in inpatient consults, rounding, and care coordination
Manage medications, treatment plans, and patient follow-up
Order and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, imaging, and additional cardiac studies
Work closely alongside Cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
Exposure to a broad range of general cardiology and acute cardiac conditions
Large and growing cardiovascular practice with strong APP collaboration
Hands-on training and mentorship available

Active Florida license or ability to obtain
Cardiology or inpatient experience preferred, but not required
