Job Description

THIS POSITIONS TRAVELS WITH OUR ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR TO MULLICA HILL, MARLTON, AND LAWRENCEVILLE NJ.

 Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

    • Clinical Support: Prepare exam rooms, take patient vitals, and accurately document medical histories in the EHR system. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. 
    • Specialized Ortho Care: Assist physicians with casting, splinting, bracing, and dressing changes. Prepare sterile fields for in-office injections and minor procedures. Inputs physician orders, Triaging patients. 
    • Administrative: Update and maintain all digital patient records, Prep patient charts before their appointments, Checking patient in and out, General understanding of our billing process,General understanding of our insurance process,Rescheduling appointments when needed.
    • All other duties assigned by the physician

    Required Qualifications

    • Certification: Active CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) credential is required.
    • Education: High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
    • Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification.
    • Experience: 1 years of experience in a clinical setting (Orthopedic or Surgical experience preferred).
    • Skills: Proficiency in EHR software eClinicalWorks and knowledge of orthopedic terminology.

    *Travel is required for training, and for coverage in multiple offices*
