The Occupational Therapist will work Full Time, Days, and will evaluate and treat patients in acute care, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Provides and directs all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation according to organizations guidelines, professional standards, and community needs. Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, and to all internal and external customers. Actively participates in quality assurance and customer service activities for the rehabilitation department.
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
EXPERIENCE:
With Occupational Therapy, Experience is PREFERRED
With Skilled Nursing, Experience is PREFERRED
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: California license to practice Occupational Therapy REQUIRED
