Job Title: Cleaning Specialist/ Housekeeper

Job Type: Full-Time Only

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role plays an important part in supporting the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to facility guidelines
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and emergencies
• Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy and dignity
• Assist with laundry duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Positive attitude and compassionate approach toward elderly residents
