Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machining Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift in San Marcos, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating CNC or manual machining equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours reliably.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments.

Shift Details

This position is for the 2nd shift, typically from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
