Position Summary
The Logistics Operations Coordinator processes, verifies and maintains accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments under the supervision of management.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Torrance, CA, as required by company leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process non-EDI and EDI purchase orders, timely and accurately to meet customer needs.
  • Overseeing distribution of sample orders for internal and external customers, by packing, sealing and labeling to prepare for shipment using office tools.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
  • Invoice data entry to QuickBooks
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, dimensions, damages, discrepancies for reporting or recordkeeping purposes.
  • Regularly communicates with 3PL vendors.
  • Prepare documents for export permits and orders for all Canadian purchase orders.
  • Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and represents the company in a professional manner.
  • Performs additional duties and tasks as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, import/export, and distribution of goods environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced, quick turn business model.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • EDI (SPS Commerce) and QuickBooks experience a plus.
  • Ability to commute to the office daily.
