Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for aiding the closing department in the funding of mortgage loans.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review funding documents for funding authorization to title companies for timely disbursement of loans.
  • Perform follow up as needed to title companies to ensure all required documentation and corrections are received for disbursements, loan requirements and audits.
  • Verify and send wire requests to credit union clients and follow up as needed for title companies.
  • Always deliver the WOW factor in service to all customers, internal and external.
  • Constantly be aware of areas, tasks or functions to create efficiencies and/or improvements.
  • Promote honest and open communication throughout the company.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with TruHome Solutions values, philosophies and leadership characteristics.
  • Work with other departments to ensure the workflow or process provides the best service to the members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  • Must be bondable.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum experience in Mortgage Lending is preferred.
