Job Description

The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate to conduct research with a focus on the biomechanical function that characterizes the mechanical effects of soft-tissue implant designs on joint and tendon function at the shoulder.

The main responsibilities will include: project management, coordinating with collaborators, and performing experiments that measure joint kinematics, tissue deformation, and contact pressures. The incumbent will be responsible for data analysis, writing progress reports, and manuscripts. The incumbent will also be expected to help train students and complete other assignments that the principal investigator may request.

Applicants must possess a PhD in bioengineering or a closely related STEM field.
