Job Title: Material Handler

Summary: 

The Material Handler will facilitate the execution of daily flow of production material through internal and external services, including moving parts to necessary work centers. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Follow established work instructions when verifying raw material products in receiving and entering inventory into the ERP system
  • Label each incoming product receipt per work instruction and locating them to inventory storage areas daily
  • Work with all departments within production operations to ensure timely delivery/launching of material to shop floor to meet production schedules 
  • Assist in the movement of inventory/WIP to or from any area or department as required
  • Pull and put away all orders accurately and completely
  • Must follow Raw Material expectation criteria for covering, banding, cart management, wrapping or protecting our inventory within the production process
  • Complete all paperwork or electronic data in a timely manner
  • Communicate any inventory inconsistencies to the team lead and supervisor
  • Operate a forklift and other material handling and storage equipment
  • Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required. 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
  • High School Degree or G.E.D
  • 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or a manufacturing/warehouse environment

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) 
  • Ability to travel domestically – 5% max
