About the Role:

The Distribution Associate I plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the distribution center. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods to meet customer demands and company standards. The associate will work closely with team members to maintain inventory accuracy, organize stock, and prepare orders for timely delivery. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain a smooth workflow and minimize errors. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall success of the supply chain by facilitating the seamless movement of products from the warehouse to the end customer.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Good communication skills to effectively work within a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Organize and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
