Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is looking for a summer intern to work in the Engineering department.  The internship would focus on the accounting and organization of tooling within the MTTM production. Physical counting and measurement along with spreadsheet tracking will be applied.

Responsibilities:

  • In assigned areas such as Pressing, manual machining and precision machining, take inventory of current tooling.

  • Propose organization ideas to keep track of tooling – help execute chosen system.

  • Electronically develop and execute excel based tracking and inventory of tools in each area as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Related experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment

  • Enthusiasm and independence to complete tasks without micromanagement

  • Collegiate student looking to obtain job experience in a manufacturing setting – Strongly Preferred

  • Experience inspecting product or working in a material lab – Preferred
