Position type: Hourly

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is looking for a summer intern in the Engineering Department. The internship would focus on the planning, layout, execution, and data analysis of time studies in various areas of the production process. Documentation of the process and validation of existing documentation would be part of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Review current documentation on process to be studied.

  • Observe production of studied processes.

  • Plan and execute plans to time each step of process being studied.

  • Digitize and analyze the resulting time studies to be able to update ERP system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Related experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment

  • Enthusiasm and independence to complete tasks without micromanagement

  • Collegiate student looking to obtain job experience in a manufacturing setting – Strongly Preferred

  • Experience inspecting product or working in a material lab – Preferred
