Responsibilities
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field and providing direct assistance to surgeons during operations. This includes organizing supplies, handling surgical instruments, and managing specimens and equipment post-operation.
Qualifications
You have graduated from an accredited Surgical Tech Program or have 1 year of experience as a Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech. You are able to withstand stressful situations and be flexible within daily work assignments, while possessing good organizational skills and the ability to promote good interpersonal relationships. You must also have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Job Description
The Surgical Tech provides surgical assistance pre and post operation. Organizes and prepares supplies and equipment for procedures. Sets up the operating surgeon’s sterile field and anticipates surgeon's needs. Provides direct assistance for surgical procedure: assists surgeon with surgical gowns and gloves, hands the desired instruments to the surgeon during the operation, prepares sterile dressings. Cleans the surgical instruments and operating room post operation.
