Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment in the 1972 facility and surrounding area.

Essential duties:

• Vacuum all carpeted areas.
• Clean the dining room, art room, and computer room including:

1. Wipe all tables and seats with dampened cloths
2. Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash
3. Wipe off counters

• Clean and stock the restrooms as follows:

1. Clean Sinks
2. Clean toilets
3. Stock tissue paper
4. Stock hand towels
5. Sweep floors
6. Remove trash
7. Mop floors

• Clean glass on the doors, windows, and mirrors.
• Sweep and mop non-carpeted areas. 
• Collect and remove trash and dirty laundry from restrooms, offices, and other rooms. 
• Pick up trash outside the facility
• Shovel snow and apply ice melt products on all sidewalks and stairs when necessary due to ice or snow.
• Clean and maintain the area near and around the dumpster.
• Follow all work instructions that pertain to the sanitation technician job description.
• May be required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• All other duties as deemed necessary

• Maintain good hygiene.
• Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Be able to multitask effectively in a sometimes fast paced environment.
