Horizons Residential Care Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. If you’re compassionate, reliable, and ready to be part of a strong care team, we want to hear from you.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Second Shift (2:45 PM – 11:15 PM)
  • Location: Rural Hall, NC
  • Pay: Competitive, based on experience
  • Shift Differential: Available

What You’ll Do

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals)
  • Monitor and report changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Support mobility and safe transfers
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic records
  • Provide compassionate, person-centered care
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and care protocols

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active CNA certification (North Carolina)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in long-term care, ICF, or developmental disabilities
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Experience with electronic documentation systems
