Position Summary:
We are so grateful to the many volunteers who offer invaluable support to our patients and families in several disciplines within the VNA (Hospice, Administration, Home Health Care).
As a dedicated and sympathetic Hospice volunteer you undergo specialized training to address the unique challenges of end-of-life care as part of the Hospice team. Your primary role is to offer companionship to both patients and their families, delivering invaluable non-medical support and assistance during this sensitive time.
From visiting patients and affording much-needed respite to family members and caregivers, to contributing essential help within the administrative sphere, volunteers form an integral and cherished component of the VNA team.? Please note, this is strictly a volunteer, unpaid position.
