PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards.

This position is located at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford, IL
This is the work schedule: One week it's like this and then the following week it transitions to the other schedule listed.
Sunday/on - Mon/off - Tues/on - Wed/on - Thurs/on - Fri/off - Sat/on
Sunday/on - Mon/off - Tues/on - Wed/on - Thurs/on - Fri/on- Sat/off

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cross-train in other positions per facility needs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling

Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics
