Landmark Hospital of Columbia has an opportunity for a Full Time Housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team. Our housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining compliance with OSHA, infections control and safety guidelines, using a professional and customer service-focused approach.  Maintaining premises in a clean and orderly manner is the foundation for the nursing care that is provided at our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleans patients'/residents' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention.
  • Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets.
  • Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies.
  • Outside trash pickup and leave removal as needed.
  • Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
  • Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Must pass background check/drug test.
