Job Description
Quality Assurance Technician
Location: 2521 E Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55413 Company: Wholesale Produce Supply Schedule: Monday - Friday, Occasional Saturday. 7:00am until finished (8–12-hour shifts, 40 hours/week with occasional overtime) Benefits: PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k)
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our fresh cut products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your responsibilities will include:
· Supporting and maintaining food safety and quality assurance systems
· Monitoring production lines to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards
· Conducting sanitation inspections and environmental/allergen swabbing
· Accurately documenting and reporting quality data and findings
· Communicating with production supervisors and managers to resolve product issues
· Identifying and escalating non-conformances or deviations from standards
· Verifying proper labeling, packaging, and product specifications
· Assisting with internal audits and third-party inspections
· Participating in root cause analysis and corrective action processes
· Supporting training efforts for production staff on quality and food safety procedures
· Maintaining calibration and verification records for QA equipment
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce waste

What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Reliable, accountable, and a team player
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
· Background in quality assurance or regulatory compliance
· HACCP, PCQI, or SQF certification (preferred)
· Bilingual communication skills
Work Environment
· Cold environment: 34–42°F (PPE provided)
· Wet floors and surfaces – waterproof boots provided and required
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
