Job Description

Hours:

Wednesday 9am-3pm
Thursday 5am-5pm
Friday 5am-5pm
Saturday 5am-11am.

Occasional holiday work is required 

Your Story. 

You will be responsible for washing company equipment using high pressure washer equipment. You will use detergents and chemicals and work in all climates. You will also be responsible for moving tractor and trailers in the yard, and in and out of the wash bay. Flexible work schedule is required along with some Holidays.

What You Do. 

  • Ability to work in all climate and weather conditions.
  • Operate a Tractor-Trailer in truck yard and equipment staging areas.
  • Transport equipment in and out of truck wash bay for cleaning.
  • Park cleaned tractors’ in assigned parking spots.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Fuel corporate equipment as required.
  • Maintain clean work environment and perform janitorial duties as requested.
  • Use onsite fueling equipment to properly fuel tractors, and trailers as needed.
  • Clean up any oil and fuel spills that are noticed in the yard.
  • Notify proper onsite personnel and regulatory agencies of any spills as required by applicable laws.
  • Courier duties as assigned.
  • Work with chemicals used in the washing process.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment wash and fuel records.
  • Report any damaged equipment and missing load locks and pallet jacks.
  • Follow the Sargento Code of Business and Personal Ethics.
  • Actively able to perform essential job functions as determined by Human Resources.
  • Other duties deemed essential to the operation of the fleet. 

Your Education and Experience. 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred.  
  • Valid drivers’ license is required.
