Job Description
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
One (1) year of experience as a surgical technologist; or completion of an accredited surgical tech program, the MU Health Care Surgical Tech program, or military training may be substituted for the experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or Certified Operating Room Surgical Technician (CORST) certification by National Health career Association (NHA), or Technician in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) certification by National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
