Our commitment to customer satisfaction drives our success and inspires our dedicated team!     Purpose:  This position will be responsible for monitoring fuel inventories and the dispatching of fuel orders to the appropriate trucks and drivers, and overall logistics management.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   Assign and dispatch bulk fuel deliveries while monitoring inventory levels via computerized management system. Build individual truck/trailer load plans for drivers using specific contracts that are price specific Relaying information such as assigned truck number, and customer requests or immediate needs directly to drivers Resolve driver obstacles and rack issues. Answer after-hours Customer & Driver phone calls. Review orders for accuracy and correctness before dispatching to drivers. Track drivers throughout the shift via Carson Software to make sure they are still operating and safe. Coordinate with management, sales, and drivers to satisfy customer expectations. Inform management of any potential sites that need to be evaluated due to safety concerns to ensure safe deliveries and minimize customer service issues. Follow emergency procedures if needed (i.e. motor vehicle accident, spill, truck break down, etc.)   Relationships and Roles   Shifts are on a rotating schedule, with shifts lasting from 5:30 pm - 6am.  Occasional required overtime when workload deems it necessary. Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees. Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values. Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.   Desired Job Specifications 1-2 years’ previous dispatch experience and/or customer service experience a plus (we will train the right candidate) Proven ability to multi-task and work under fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Computer and customer service skills Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances  Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills. Strong troubleshooting skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation. Computer literate with experience using MS Office and of like software systems. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
