Paramedic – Ground Transport (ALS)

Location: Boise, Idaho

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (48-hour schedules available)

What You'll Do

  • Deliver advanced life support (ALS) care to patients of all acuity levels during interfacility and specialty transports.
  • Apply strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making while collaborating closely with your crew and facility teams.
  • Uphold Ascent's uncompromising standards of safety, professionalism, and documentation excellence.
  • Engage actively in training, case reviews, and quality initiatives designed to push the limits of what ground EMS can achieve.

What We're Looking For

  • Idaho Paramedic License or Compact/Replica state compliant; NREMT-P strongly encouraged
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required); PHTLS or ITLS preferred
  • Minimum 1 year field experience (ALS or critical-care transport experience ideal)
    • Will consider less than 1 year for the right candidate
  • Exceptional clinical skills, clear communication, and sound judgment under pressure
  • A positive attitude, team mentality, and drive to constantly improve
  • Clean driving record and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights/weekends
