Key Responsibilities: - Receive and process incoming stock and materials, verifying the accuracy of deliveries and ensuring proper documentation. - Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring that all items are easily accessible and properly labeled. - Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages to the relevant department to facilitate timely reordering. - Assist in the setup and maintenance of product displays, ensuring that merchandise is presented in an appealing and organized manner. - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. - Collaborate with other team members to support store operations and customer service efforts. - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and other inventory areas. - Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect inventory and minimize loss. GROCERY STOCK CLERKRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: - Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred. - Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds. - Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
