What You'll Be Doing…

  • Teach & Inspire: Develop and execute culturally relevant, standards-based lessons that challenge and engage all students. Adapt instruction to meet varied learning styles and social development needs.
  • Analyze: Regularly administer and reflect on quantitative and qualitative student data to immediately inform instructional adjustments. Create aligned Formative, Summative, and Performance assessments that prepare students for standardized tests (e.g., SBAC)
  • Manage: Maintain a highly structured, positive, and productive learning environment aligned with MWA culture.
  • Partner: Proactively engage families through consistent communication regarding progress and academic goals.
  • Growth: Actively participate in mandatory professional development and team meetings.

What We're Looking For…

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree and strong content area knowledge.
  • Valid state teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one (support is provided for eligible applicants).
  • Unwavering commitment to closing achievement gaps and raising student expectations.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required screenings (Live Scan/fingerprints, TB screen, CTC Certificate of Clearance, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification).
