Job Description

OVERVIEW

Alera Group is looking for an Account Manager, Commercial Lines Ground Transportation to join our growing team! We’re seeking a motivated, relationship-driven insurance professional who brings experience, a proactive mindset, and a strong client-first approach to their work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the marketing and renewal process, including drafting and preparing client renewal proposals, as needed
  • Process policy endorsements accurately and in a timely manner
  • Issue certificates of insurance, evidences of coverage, and ID cards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping systems, databases, and client records
  • Process non-pay cancellations and assist in resolving billing-related issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service by managing client needs through timely and successful resolution
  • Assist with general administrative and miscellaneous duties, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred
  • Active New Jersey Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate and respond to client needs effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with agency management systems and carrier portals preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business and organizational needs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Compensation:
Salary range: $60,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience.
Eligible for performance-based bonus: Yes
