Job Title:
 Industrial / Construction Electrical Helper
Location: Will Vary Depending on Project Location
Hours: Will typically be 10-12 per day
Per diem: will be available depending on project and location

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Industrial / Construction Electrical Helper to assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on industrial and construction job sites. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience in industrial and commercial construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist electricians with installing conduit, wiring, cable trays, lighting, and electrical equipment.
  • Pull wire and help with cable installation.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and assemble conduit using hand and power tools.
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment around job sites.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment under supervision.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Operate basic hand tools, drills, grinders, and other construction equipment safely.
  • Support electricians with material inventory and job site preparation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or lead electricians.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous construction or electrical helper experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical tools and construction practices is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn the electrical trade.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work at heights and on active construction sites.
