Job Summary   

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Product Engineering Intern will assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for our monitoring solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in electronics engineering and collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

Essential Job Functions:   

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications. 

  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to electronic hardware and software. 

  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in electronics engineering. 

  • Help create and maintain detailed documentation for designs, processes, and procedures. 

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. 

  • Support the development and testing of electronic circuits and systems. 

  • Use electronic design automation (EDA) tools for circuit design and simulation. 

  • Work with microcontrollers and embedded systems. 

  • Assist in debugging and troubleshooting electronic hardware. 

  • Maintain and update technical documentation. 

  • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends. 

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure project success.

Job Qualifications / Skill Requirements:   

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field. 

  • Basic understanding of electronics design and development. 

  • Familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) tools. 

  • Understanding of circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Self-manage with moderate supervision. 

  • Team player with a can-do attitude. 

  • Results-oriented, creative problem-solver; able to meet deadlines. 

  • Attention to detail, focus, follow-up, and follow-through; methodical time management.
