Job Description:

Position Summary:

This is an entry-level position for an Accounting Intern with an opportunity for hands-on experience. The Accounting Intern is responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting data. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clear and actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

Scope and Function:

• Collect and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Maintain data documentation and supporting schedules.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for management, as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve data-related problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to management.
• Eagerness to continuously learn and improve data processes and analytical capabilities.
• Power BI or Tableau experience or training preferred.

Education/Experience:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Must be in good academic standing as defined by the institution.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• In office and manufacturing environment.
• Part-time: less than 30 hours per week.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Compensation Information:

$17.13 hourly
