About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Footwear Design Intern to join our design team for the summer. This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field who are looking to gain hands-on industry experience and build a professional portfolio.

The intern will support the design team throughout the product creation process—from concept development to final execution—while learning about materials, construction methods, and current market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of footwear design concepts, sketches, and renderings
  • Conduct trend, market, and competitor research to support seasonal design direction
  • Prepare mood boards, color palettes, and material presentations
  • Support the development of tech packs and design specifications
  • Collaborate with designers and cross-functional partners on ongoing projects
  • Help organize design files, material libraries, and seasonal archives

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (must be eligible to receive academic credit)
  • Studying Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop required)
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g., Rhino, CLO, Blender, or similar) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction in a fast-paced environment
