Carrier Sales Representative/ Salt Lake City, UT / Lehi, UT

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will be in a fast-paced brokerage working to move customers’ inventory cost-effectively by identifying and providing carriers to work with. Building relationships with carriers will help grow their business and yours. The Carrier Sales Representative role here at Ardent is just the beginning of your career in logistics sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Call drivers and transportation companies to confirm availability.
  • Negotiate with shippers and carriers for the best possible rates.
  • Manage daily shipments by ensuring they are accurately documented in the system and communicating to ensure they are picked up and delivered on time.
  • Be honest and proactive in your communication with customers and carriers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Providing top-tier customer service.
  • Develop new carrier relationships and grow existing ones.

  • Ability to multitask by managing your calls, emails, and messages while still achieving your daily goals.
