Job Summary: 

Maintain inventory accuracy and satisfy incoming and outgoing shipments requirements while minimizing errors 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain an accurate inventory and assure the physical counts match the counts in IQ.
  • Optimize inventory space using continual organizational improvements. 
  • Always follow FIFO (First in First out) 
  • Verify condition and accuracy of incoming product during receiving. 

Shipping: 

  • Prepare shipments per ISO procedures and work instructions. 
  • Verify accuracy of shipping paperwork. 
  • Participate in reducing/optimizing packaging. 
  • Issue inventory to the floor and ship product to customers following the rules of FIFO (First in First out). 

Receiving: 

  • Unload incoming shipments and weight count parts when required. 
  • Verify condition and accuracy. 
  • Verify all needed documents are present. 
  • Receive parts into IQ and prepare for QA incoming inspection. 
  • Receive miscellaneous items and notify recipients. 

Warehouse: 

  • Utilizing 6S methods and ISO procedures and work instructions, optimize inventory space through continual organizational improvements. 
  • Stock packaging for production, and notify Purchasing when levels are low. 
  • Verify count accuracy of items moving from Production to the warehouse. 
  • Participate in physical inventory. 
  • Identify slow moving/obsolete inventories and work with Customer Service and 

Accounting on disposal:

  • Stock Clean Room supply cabinets daily. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Essential Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • The ability to follow oral and written instructions and to understand, speak and read English. 
  • Minimum one year of experience in production environment. 
  • Current forklift certification required. 
  • Good communication, computer and counting skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work. 
  • Must be a team player. 

Desirable Qualifications: 

  • Experience within the medical device or plastic injection molding industry 

ADA Requirements: 

  • Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move about frequently and for extended periods of time 
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally 
  • Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously 
  • Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection 
  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
