Overview

The Buc-ee's Business Intern will assist the Project Execution Department with functions such as reporting, data entry, research, and performing other office duties, and special projects as assigned by the Director of Strategy & Analytics and staff. This is a 6 - 8 week assignment in our Pearland, Texas office.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in analyzing and interpreting consumer and sales insights to identify consumer trends and identify potential marketing opportunities for our customers and stores
• Assist in developing regular and ad hoc report analysis, financial performance of various departments
• Assist in providing internal business management with accurate and pertinent information that enhances and guides effective decision making
• Assist in leveraging analytical insights to develop actionable items for improvement
• Maintain confidentiality
• It is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee’s assigned work site. No remote work is available
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
• Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
