Available Shifts:

Full Time Weekends Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Monitor and record vital signs regularly during patients’ stays at the residential facility.
• Nursing Assessments: Perform nursing assessments and provide care interventions based on psychiatric and medication needs.
• Pre-Admission Evaluation: Conduct triage assessments to determine the appropriateness of new patient admissions.
• Medication Management: Administer medications following established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Documentation & Treatment Planning: Accurately document nursing goals, interventions, and outcomes in patient charts while actively contributing to the treatment care plan.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain patient and employee safety by following infection control protocols and medication management procedures, including handling controlled substances.

Requirements

• Valid LVN/RN License in the state of TX
• 1 year in the behavioral health field is preferred
