Position Summary

Consensus Health is seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to assist with contract drafting, legal research, and exploring innovative ways to implement AI in corporate legal department documents. This position is ideal for a student interested in business law, technology, and the intersection of AI and legal operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and legal agreements.

• Conduct legal research.

• Collaborate with legal and technology teams to explore AI tools for contract AI-driven legal solutions.

• Support legal and compliance departments with other tasks as needed.

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications or

Education, Training and Experience

• Current law student, or college student pursuing a degree in Pre-Law, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.

• Interest in contract law, legal technology, health care, and/or AI applications in the legal industry.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus. Knowledge and Skills/Expected Competencies

• Ability to analyze and solve problems; requires details, data and facts that must be analyzed and challenged prior to making decisions

• Strong (verbal/written) communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills

• Excellent organization, prioritization, follow up, analytical and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines

• Good interpersonal skills, sense of urgency, being proactive and ownership for one’s work

• Ability to develop and implement new approaches to improve processes, procedures, or the general work environment

• Ability to manage multiple deliverable deadlines

Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to operate general office equipment (PC, telephone, file cabinets, copier, postage meter, fax machine and printer). The employee may occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to travel to healthcare practices.
