Clymer Farner Barley, Inc./Clymer Farner Barley Surveying, LLC (CFB) is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering and surveying firm specializing in land surveying and civil engineering services. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to support both our newly opened Palmetto office and the Surveying team based out of that location.

Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant I at CFB Surveying, you will play a key role in supporting our project managers and technical teams by ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day administrative operations. Your ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion will be essential to the success of our office and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take and relay messages to assist project managers.

  • Assist with tracking, preparing, and following up on project proposals.

  • Open job numbers for assigned projects and maintain accurate project records.

  • Set up new projects in Asana and assist with managing related tasks and deadlines.

  • Track project deliverables, prepare invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.

  • Manage the closeout of project files in an organized and timely manner.

  • Provide general administrative support to project managers and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience is required
  • Experience in engineering, land development, or environmental services is a plus!
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with Asana is advantageous.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and exercise independent judgment while managing multiple priorities.
