OWL Services is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Junior Fuel Compliance Apprentice to join our growing team in Dallas, TX.

This hands-on field role supports retail, commercial, and private fueling facilities by helping ensure fuel system integrity, environmental compliance, and operational safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy travel, independent work, problem-solving, and working with their hands.

As part of the team, you’ll assist with fuel containment testing, leak detection, and compliance inspections while gaining valuable industry experience and long-term career growth opportunities.

This role includes company-paid travel, overtime opportunities, weekly pay, and on-the-job training in a stable and essential industry.

• Perform fuel containment, leak-detection, and equipment integrity testing
• Identify fuel leaks, compliance concerns, and operational issues
• Complete petroleum support work orders accurately and efficiently
• Record and document testing results using calibration tools and digital systems
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and internal teams
• Travel approximately two weeks per month (lodging covered; home on weekends)
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company procedures
• Assist senior technicians with field inspections and fuel system evaluations

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to travel frequently for field assignments
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform physical tasks including kneeling, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing
• Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
