Job Description
The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking a part/time PT Group Programs Associate to provide provides customer service and administrative assistance at the Group Sales entry in the Welcome Center. The Group Programs Associate also implements Group Sales programming as needed. The Group Programs Associate provides a high level of customer service through comprehensive product knowledge and efficient guest relations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Welcome Center Coordination
Departmental Programming
Group Programs Associate
Qualified candidates will have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or 6 months or more of related customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percent. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work weekends (required), holidays, and other evenings/nights as necessary.
