About the Role:

The Construction Intern role is designed to provide hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in the construction industry, supporting project teams in delivering high-quality building projects. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in construction or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or Bluebeam.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers and site supervisors in coordinating daily construction activities and schedules.
  • Support the documentation process by maintaining accurate records of site progress, materials used, and safety inspections.
  • Participate in site safety meetings and help enforce safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Conduct basic site inspections to verify compliance with project plans and quality standards.
