Job Description

Pharmacy Innovations is a growing pharmacy group with locations in multiple states. With a focus on quality, we offer specialized medicine for every patient including the family pet. Our teams work together to create custom medications for a variety of purposes. Team members strive to make a difference in our client's lives by providing personalized solutions and taking their health care beyond a one-size-fits-all approach.

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team full-time. As a Pharmacy Technician with Pharmacy Innovations, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives and health of others.

We will train you to support the team's ability to:

  • Data enter patient demographics and process prescription claims
  • Count, package, label and organize prescription orders
  • Prepare and package customer orders for shipping
  • Receive and process incoming shipments of drug products and ancillary supplies
  • Compound prescription formulations in the lab

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and licensed in New York State as a registered pharmacy technician or ability to obtain certification and NY registration within 6 months of start date
  • Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook (preferred)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
