WHAT THIS JOB REALLY IS

This is NOT a sit-at-a-desk position.

This is hands-on technical work that requires:

Some days you’ll be troubleshooting electrical systems.
Some days you’ll be digging, lifting, climbing, wiring, or working in tight spaces.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Install, repair, and maintain petroleum equipment
  • Troubleshoot fuel pumps, dispensers, and electrical systems
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections
  • Complete service documentation and reports
  • Work directly with customers professionally
  • Operate independently in the field using a company vehicle
  • Work safely in all weather conditions

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Dependable attendance and professional attitude

Requirements

  • Ability to install, repair, service, and test, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Flexibility to adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:30AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adaptability required beyond these hours
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of equipment needed for the job
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, to include bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces
  • Drivers license and acceptable driving record for issuance of a take home company vehicle
  • Ability to effectively manage time
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • (some requirements may only be met after on the job training is received)
