The Washington Post Opinions department is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Associate, Video Production to support the day-to-day operations of its multimedia team. This role provides critical coordination and production support for video podcasts, interviews and social content, helping ensure projects run smoothly from planning through delivery.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn. They will support scheduling, booking and production logistics while working closely with producers, editors and journalists across the Opinions department. This role is designed as an entry point into video production, with opportunities to build foundational skills in editing and digital storytelling over time.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced media environment while contributing to high-quality opinion journalism across digital platforms.

The salary range for this position is:
$65,600 - $98,400 AnnualThe actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
