Role DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team. This position is based in a professional spa environment focused on wellness, relaxation, and client care.

Responsibilities

•  Perform massage therapy services. 
•  Conduct client consultations. 
•  Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout treatment areas. 
•  Deliver excellent client care and professionalism. 
•  Complete treatment notes and service documentation. 

Requirements

•  Valid New York State Massage Therapy License or Permit. 
•  Ability to obtain or maintain liability malpractice insurance. 
•  Strong communication skills. 
•  Ability to work in a professional spa environment. 
•  Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including providing massage services, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a professional spa environment.

•  Swedish massage. 
•  Deep tissue massage. 
•  Hot stone massage. 
•  Cupping therapy. 
•  Prenatal massage. 
•  Sports massage. 
•  Reiki is a plus. 

CompensationCompensation is based on services performed and paid per session, not hourly employment.

Average earnings range from approximately $35–$40 per service/session depending on experience and services provided.

Work StructureThis opportunity is structured as an independent contractor (1099) relationship. Contractors maintain control over their schedules and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and related business expenses.
