MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT   Job description: Make a difference in the lives of older adults! Argento Westchester is a family owned facility and aims to promote wellness in our residents, with dignity and respect. We have an immediate Full Time or Part Time position for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Prior experience as a handyman and in an assisted living setting or senior care is preferred.   Job responsibilities may include (not limited to): ·        Perform maintenance and repairs ·        Respond to maintenance requests ·        Conduct routine safety and building upkeep checks ·        Assist with room set ups and furniture moves ·        Maintain clean and organized work areas ·        Report needed repairs ·        Work with outside vendors as directed ·        Follow safety and facility policies   A Qualified Candidate Needs to Be: ·        able to understand and follow instructions in English ·        communicate effectively with other staff and residents ·        eligible to work in the United States ·        able to work as a team and follow directions ·        at least 18 years of age.
