Join a paid summer internship where you will work on regenerative agriculture, climate resilience, and impact intelligence. Through the InTent Internship Programme (#IIP), you will help design frameworks and strategic tools that support the scaling of nature-positive agricultural solutions.


About the hosting organisation

Red Diamond Compost is a Barbados-based start-up working to regenerate soil health through circular bioeconomy solutions. The company transforms organic biomass, including sargassum seaweed, into regenerative crop inputs designed to improve soil biology, nutrient efficiency, and crop resilience, while reducing dependence on synthetic inputs.

The Position

You will support the project Regenerative Agriculture Systems & Impact Intelligence Intern. The role focuses on designing an impact framework for soil regeneration and climate resilience, analysing field trial data, mapping expansion pathways, and developing strategic reporting tools for leadership, investors, and partners.

What You Will Work On

  • Develop a structured Soil Regeneration Impact Framework with measurable indicators for soil health, crop resilience, nutrient efficiency, and climate adaptation 
  • Research regenerative agriculture benchmarks and align findings with SDGs and nature-positive performance standards 
  • Map regulatory and market-entry pathways for one priority region, including risk analysis and competitive landscape 
  • Analyse existing field trial data to identify performance trends and opportunities for impact reporting 
  • Quantity circular bioeconomy benefits such as waste diversion, reduced synthetic inputs, and climate co-benefits 
  • Design a prototype executive-level impact dashboard framework 
  • Prepare a strategic briefing and final presentation with recommendations for scaling 
  • Work with leadership to translate insights into practical expansion and impact strategies 


Requirements

What You Bring

You are a Master’s student in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Agricultural Economics, Climate Policy, Business Strategy, or Data Analysis. You are comfortable working with research and datasets, and you can turn complex information into structured frameworks, reports, and recommendations.


Who You Are

  • Strong analytical and research skills 
  • Comfortable working with datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools 
  • Able to develop clear frameworks, reports, and strategic recommendations 
  • Strong written communication skills for structured, executive-level outputs 
  • Interested in regenerative agriculture, climate resilience, and sustainable innovation
