Qualifications
You have 0-3 years of relevant experience and are board eligible or hold active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the ARRT. You also possess a current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit, and are certified in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.

This position is full time, weekends only. The shift is "Special Weekend Options", which is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7am-7pm, at Riley Children's Hospital.

Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
