Role Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead Dynamic Positioning (DP) and control system projects within the marine sector. This role is ideal for candidates with a technical background in marine automation, navigation, or DP systems who are ready to take on project leadership responsibilities and drive projects from initiation through delivery.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in an international environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects through all phases of project delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, internal departments, and suppliers
  • Plan, manage, and execute automation and control system projects for commercial vessels
  • Support and coordinate PLC programming and software development activities
  • Ensure technical solutions meet project requirements, customer expectations, and industry standards
  • Coordinate technical documentation reviews, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), commissioning, and testing activities
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resource planning, and risk assessments
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement of project execution methods, technical processes, and collaboration practices
  • Handle change management processes, including design changes and cost evaluations
  • Support internal and external stakeholders through clear communication and reporting
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and international travel when required

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience within marine automation, industrial automation, or related technical industries
  • Understanding of automation and process control systems
  • Familiarity with marine automation platforms, control systems, and DP solutions
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Awareness of cybersecurity standards and marine platform equipment functionality
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Structured and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and collaborate across teams in an international environment
  • Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to grow into a project leadership role
  • Willingness to travel internationally and undergo background checks if required
