JOB SUMMARY
Works under general direction to provide responsible and skilled technical assistance in performing assignments requiring experience and good knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of medical and scientific research.
The candidate will collaborate with experimental and clinical labs to study a variety of biological and biomedical problems related to TSG syndrome-associated developmental abnormalities and tumorigenesis as well as the role of neural stem cells and tumors in the nervous system. Collaborate with bioinformatics team to study cancer genomics data and identify predictive biomarkers or drug targets.
Ideal applicants should have a BS in Neuroscience/Biology/Genetics/ or other medical research; ability to communicate with other team members; research experience in cancer biology, single-cell genomics and childhood diseases desirable. Attention to detail, time management, effective communication skills, ability to problem solve and work independently, teamwork, customer/client service, and professionalism. Minimum working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
