We are looking for a Precast Production Set Up crew member to join our 1st shift team. The start time will be 6:00AM, Monday-Friday, working 8-10 hour work days.

Precast Production Set Up is responsible for assisting in the setup process, working in a timely and safe manner to ensure production schedules are met. Prepares forms daily for the pouring process as specified on drawings or by the area supervisor.

Starting at $20.00/hour and can increase based on previous related experience. Over time/ Time and a half is paid after 8 hours worked each day

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Will utilize blueprints to set and tie rebar cages and/or mats
  • Reviews prints with attention to detail
  • Sets up prints using a tape measure
  • Place steel components in forms 
  • Uses the bolt cutters to cut the mesh
  • Utilizes concrete saws to cut strand
  • Gathers components required to layout and pour forms
  • Handles oil sprayers to blow oil forms
  • Will help form panels when needed
  • Assist in any cleanup after setup is completed
  • Cross trains as needed to learn other functions within concrete production

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

  • Prior construction, roofing, hardscaping or similar background is required
  • Comfortable operating measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch
  • Good with taking instructions, taking feedback, and working as a part of a team
  • Basic math & measurement skills
  • Basic knowledge of various hand, power & measurement tools
  • Familiarity with reading basic blueprints a plus!
